Welcome to Bodine Math. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of:

The Bodine Math mobile application
The Bodine Math AI tutor

Video lessons
Membership and subscription services
Worksheets, posters, lesson materials, and downloads
Physical products and related services
The website, mobile application, content, products, and related features are collectively referred to as the “Services.”
Bodine Math is operated by Bodine Math LLC (“Bodine Math,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a Bodine Math account.
By creating an account, you confirm that:
You are at least 13 years old.
The information you provide is accurate.
You have the legal ability to agree to these Terms.
Bodine Math is primarily intended for students ages 13 and older in grades 7–12, as well as parents, educators, and other adults.
We may remove an account if we reasonably believe the user is under 13.
Some features require a Bodine Math account.
You are responsible for:
Providing accurate account information
Maintaining access to the email address associated with your account
Protecting your password and sign-in information
Not sharing your account with unauthorized users
Informing us if you believe your account has been compromised
Keeping your account and payment information current
Using the Services in accordance with these Terms
You may not impersonate another person, create an account using another person’s information, or use another person’s account without permission.
We may temporarily restrict an account when reasonably necessary to protect the user, investigate suspicious activity, prevent abuse, enforce usage limits, or comply with legal obligations.
Bodine Math provides educational resources, explanations, guided practice, video lessons, and AI-assisted tutoring.
The Services are intended to support learning. They do not replace:
A classroom teacher
A school curriculum
Academic advising
Professional educational evaluation
Accommodations or services required by a school
Independent verification of important academic work
We strive to provide accurate and helpful materials, but we do not guarantee:
A particular grade, test score, or academic result
Admission to a school or program
Completion of a course
That every explanation, answer, practice problem, or video will be error-free
That every feature will meet a particular school’s curriculum requirements
Students are responsible for reviewing their work and checking important answers.
The Bodine Math tutor uses artificial intelligence to generate explanations, questions, hints, feedback, and practice material.
Artificial intelligence can make mistakes. AI-generated content may occasionally be:
Incorrect
Incomplete
Misleading
Inconsistent
Based on a misunderstanding of the student’s question
Different from the method expected by a teacher or school
Students should verify important work and consult a teacher or another qualified person when appropriate.
Bodine Math does not guarantee that every AI response will be correct or that the tutor will always follow the requested teaching method.
Users may report an inaccurate, inappropriate, offensive, unsafe, or otherwise problematic AI response through the reporting feature provided in the application.
You may not intentionally use the AI tutor to request or generate unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or inappropriate content.
You retain ownership of original questions, attempted work, and images that you submit.
You grant Bodine Math a limited permission to process that material as reasonably necessary to:
Provide tutoring and practice features
Analyze a submitted math problem
Maintain conversation context
Recommend relevant lessons
Provide technical support
Investigate a reported AI response
Secure and improve the Services
This permission does not transfer ownership of your original work to Bodine Math.
Do not upload information that is unnecessary for solving the math problem, including:
Faces
Full names
Student identification numbers
Addresses
Contact information
Confidential school records
Another person’s private information
Material you do not have permission to use
You are responsible for ensuring that material you submit does not violate another person’s copyright, privacy, or other rights.
All content made available through Bodine Math, including worksheets, posters, lesson materials, videos, practice questions, graphics, text, logos, downloads, software, designs, and instructional materials (“Content”), is owned by Bodine Math LLC or used with permission.
The Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
Unless a product or license states otherwise, Content is licensed for personal and classroom use only.
You may:
View Content for your own educational use
Print purchased or authorized materials for your own use
Use eligible classroom materials with students you personally teach
Download materials when a download is expressly provided
You may not:
Resell Content
Redistribute Content
Sublicense Content
Upload Content to another website, course platform, shared drive, or marketplace
Share paid Content publicly
Use Content to create a competing product or service
Remove copyright, attribution, or branding marks
Record, reproduce, or redistribute protected videos
Make Content available to people outside the authorized household, classroom, or account
Use Content commercially unless you have written permission
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Bodine Math Content to you.
Unauthorized use may result in loss of access and, when appropriate, legal action.
Bodine Math may offer a limited free trial.
Unless the signup process expressly states otherwise:
No payment card is required for the free trial.
The trial does not automatically create a paid subscription.
The trial ends automatically at the stated expiration time.
Trial access and usage limits may differ from paid membership access.
A person may not create multiple accounts to obtain repeated trials.
Trial features may change or be discontinued for future users.
Creating additional accounts to avoid trial, membership, or usage limits is prohibited.
Paid memberships may be purchased through the Bodine Math website or an authorized application store.
The price, billing period, included features, and renewal terms are displayed before purchase.
A paid subscription may renew automatically until canceled through the provider that processes the subscription.
Website memberships are managed through BodineMath.com and the payment provider used during checkout.
Website members should use their Bodine Math membership account to review or cancel their membership.
Android subscriptions purchased through Google Play are billed and managed by Google Play.
Google Play subscriptions must be canceled through the Google Play account used to make the purchase.
Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals. Access may continue until the end of the current paid billing period.
Unless required by law or the billing provider’s rules:
Canceling does not create a partial refund for the current billing period.
Removing the application from a device does not cancel a subscription.
Signing out does not cancel a subscription.
Deleting a Bodine Math account does not automatically cancel an externally billed subscription.
You are responsible for canceling through the provider that bills the subscription.
Features and usage limits may vary by membership level. Current benefits are displayed on the website or in the application.
We may modify future membership offerings and prices. Material changes affecting an existing subscription will be handled according to applicable law and the billing provider’s rules.
When purchasing a digital or physical product, you agree to provide accurate payment, billing, and shipping information.
Digital products are final sale once delivered or accessed, except where a refund is required by law.
You may not purchase a digital product and then redistribute, resell, upload, or publicly share it.
Some physical products are produced through print-on-demand providers. Colors, positioning, material, and sizing may vary slightly from previews.
Replacements or refunds may be available for products that arrive damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect.
Returns or replacements may not be available for:
Buyer’s remorse
Incorrect sizing selected by the customer
Incorrect shipping information supplied by the customer
Normal variation in print-on-demand production
Additional information is available in our Return and Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
We may refuse or cancel an order because of:
Pricing or listing errors
Suspected fraud
Payment failure
Product unavailability
Shipping restrictions
Violation of these Terms
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue the appropriate refund.
You agree not to:
Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account
Share, sell, or transfer account access
Impersonate another person
Bypass membership, subscription, or payment verification
Bypass daily or monthly usage limits
Scrape, copy, or mass-download Content
Redistribute paid or protected materials
Interfere with the website, application, servers, or security features
Upload malware, harmful code, or corrupted content
Probe or test system vulnerabilities without written permission
Reverse engineer the Services except where applicable law permits it
Use automated tools to overwhelm or improperly access the Services
Use the Services to violate academic-integrity rules
Upload material that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights
Submit false or misleading reports about AI-generated content
Harass, threaten, exploit, or harm another person
Use the AI tutor to facilitate cheating, deception, abuse, or illegal activity
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when these requirements are violated.
Bodine Math is designed to teach students how to understand and solve problems.
Students are responsible for following the academic-integrity rules established by their school, teacher, testing organization, or educational program.
You may not use Bodine Math:
During an examination when outside assistance is prohibited
To submit AI-generated work as your own when prohibited
To obtain unauthorized answers
To misrepresent your knowledge or participation
In a way that violates a school’s or testing organization’s rules
Bodine Math is not responsible for disciplinary or academic consequences resulting from misuse of the Services.
The Services may connect to or include third-party services, including:
OpenAI
WordPress
Paid Memberships Pro
Google Play
Stripe
PayPal
YouTube
Vimeo
Print-on-demand providers
Email and analytics providers
Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that provider’s terms and policies.
Bodine Math is not responsible for the independent content, availability, security, policies, or operation of a third-party service.
Links to third-party services are provided for convenience or to deliver a feature. A link does not necessarily mean Bodine Math endorses every statement, product, or service offered by the third party.
Our collection and use of personal information are described in the Bodine Math Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described in that policy.
We work to keep Bodine Math available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Features may be interrupted by:
Maintenance
Software updates
Internet outages
Hosting problems
AI-provider availability
Video-provider availability
Payment or application-store services
Security incidents
Events outside our reasonable control
We may modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary.
We will provide notice when reasonably possible if a material change affects an active paid subscription.
We may suspend or terminate access for:
Serious or repeated violations of these Terms
Fraudulent or unauthorized activity
Attempts to compromise the Services
Abuse of trials or usage limits
Nonpayment
Expiration of required membership access
Conduct creating a safety, security, or legal risk
Requests from a court, government agency, payment provider, or application store
When appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
Termination does not eliminate obligations that arose before termination, including payment obligations or restrictions on use of Bodine Math Content.
You may request account deletion:
From the Account section of the Bodine Math mobile application
By emailing brett@bodinemath.com
We may verify your identity before completing the request.
Account deletion is generally permanent. Tutor history, Try Cycle information, learning activity, and other account-linked information may not be recoverable after deletion.
Deleting an account and canceling a subscription are separate actions. Cancel any active subscription through the provider that bills it before deleting the account.
Some information may be retained when required for accounting, tax, payment disputes, fraud prevention, security, or legal obligations.
To the extent permitted by law, the Services and Content are provided on an “as available” basis.
Bodine Math does not guarantee:
Uninterrupted availability
Error-free operation
A particular educational outcome
A particular test score
The accuracy of every AI response
That every generated question will be appropriate or error-free
That the Services will satisfy every curriculum or instructional requirement
You use the Services and Content at your own discretion and risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bodine Math LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
Use of or inability to use the Services
Reliance on educational or AI-generated content
Loss of data
Service interruptions
Unauthorized access outside our reasonable control
Third-party services
Academic or testing outcomes
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bodine Math LLC’s total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Bodine Math for the product or service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months preceding the event.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Bodine Math LLC harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:
Your unlawful use of the Services
Your violation of these Terms
Material you upload without the necessary rights or permission
Your violation of another person’s rights
This section does not apply where prohibited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute that is not required to be resolved through another legally mandated process will be brought in an appropriate state or federal court located in Nebraska.
Nothing in this section removes consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
We may update these Terms when our Services, business practices, or legal requirements change.
When we update the Terms, we will:
Revise the “Last updated” date
Post the updated Terms on this page
Provide additional notice when required or when a change is material
Changes will apply prospectively from their effective date.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and cancel any active subscription.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
The unenforceable provision will be interpreted or modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted by law.
If Bodine Math does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written permission.
Bodine Math may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Return and Refund Policy, and any purchase-specific terms shown at checkout constitute the agreement between you and Bodine Math concerning the Services.
If purchase-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the purchase-specific terms control only for that transaction.
